Administration
Since founding Bren-Tronics in 1973, our Chairman, Leo Brenna, has consistently attracted the best and the brightest to maintain our consistently high standards. Our executive team brings decades of experience to the unique challenges of designing, building, and quality-testing the batteries that our military personnel and industrial partners depend on for mission-critical applications such as survival gear, weapons systems, sensors, and vital communications equipment.

Engineering
Our advanced battery systems are far more than the cells that power them. Each battery, charger, or power system presents a unique set of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering challenges.
Our full-time staff includes all the disciplines needed to ensure that each of our products integrates seamlessly with our customers’ applications without fail. Mechanical engineers work to achieve precise weight and form factor requirements; electrical engineers design the circuits needed to properly charge, discharge, and deliver system status data; software engineers keep it all running smoothly; and industrial engineers design the exacting manufacturing processes that have made us the preferred supplier of military-grade batteries for four decades.
Quality
Quality control begins in the design and prototyping phase to ensure that flaws aren’t built into our products in the first place. During and after manufacture, our quality control engineers and technicians ensure that our products conform to a wide range of quality standards, depending on the needs of each customer.
Our staff performs qualification, first article testing, UN Transportation Testing, salt water immersion tests, load and cycle verification, and much more, right here in our own labs. We are certified to ISO 9001:2008 with Design and AS9100C standards, as well as to all relevant U.S. Department of Defense specifications.
Shipping
Our batteries are designed, built, tested, manufactured, and shipped out of our headquarters in Commack, NY. Since we control every step in the design and assembly process, and check each and every system and component before shipping to our customers, you can be sure that no detail is spared in making your delivered products the very best possible.
