Bren-Tronics has been manufacturing rechargeable batteries for the military and other DOD applications since our beginnings. With recent advancements in technology, we’ve also become a leading manufacturer of portable power systems and the accessories associated with them. One of the major unmanned applications of our batteries are military-grade drones.
Custom Battery Manufacturing
At Bren-Tronics, we also can build custom batteries for a wide range of applications, according to our customers’ needs. For example, we have built airframe specific batteries customized to fit either fixed-wing or rotary small aircraft, powering them for several hours of autonomous flight. We welcome the challenge to build new, customized solutions for our customers. Pending other specific requirements, we can develop custom batteries with up to 1000 watt hours to power your products.
Thanks to our years of experience and research, we’ve developed small, but powerful batteries that are perfect for reconnaissance drones. We aim to minimize weight in order to maximize flight time.
Powering drones and their control systems
Bren-Tronics not only develops custom power systems for small aircraft; we also have developed several batteries to power their control systems and ground stations. Like our other batteries for robotics and unmanned vehicles, our line of batteries are well suited for powering the handheld devices that control these unmanned vehicles. For example:
BB-2557A/U Series: This military-standard lithium-ion battery is built to be durable in harsh environments and is certified for use in many different devices, including UAVs.
